Call for Applications: PLL6 Travel Awards

The International Association for the Psychology of Language Learning (IAPLL) is pleased to announce a limited number of travel awards to support participation in the upcoming PLL6 Conference, to be held at Shantou University, Shantou, China in May 2026.

Each award will be up to $1,000 USD and is intended to assist with travel and participation costs. Awards will be granted based on a combination of financial need and academic merit. 


Eligibility:

All accepted presenters at PLL6 are eligible to apply.

Application Requirements:

  • A 2-page CV
  • A short statement (maximum 200 words) outlining the impact and significance of attending PLL6 for your academic or professional development
  • Please also include your current status (student, post-doc, assistant professor, etc.), departure airport, and if your program or university offers any financial support for conference travel.

Please send your application materials to Meagan Driver (mdriver@warner.rochester.edu) by October 3.
